It's approx 17" w 7.5" deep if you don't count the handle, 12.75" tall with the handle and approx 12" from side to side front to back of the opening. I've kept this basket for several decades. Always thought it was special. I've kept this basket for several decades.  Always thought it was special.   It's approx 17" w 7.5" deep if you don't count the handle, 12.75" tall with the handle and approx 12" from side to side front to back of the opening.  It appears to be hand made to me, but I could be wrong, It has two bent wooden sticks the make the handle and goes around the weaving across the bottom too.  The basket itself only weighs approx 1 pound, but the box required is what determines the shipping costs because I estimate the box will be approx 18 x 12 x 17".  I'm estimating the shipping weight to be 2.5 pounds because of the box size and weight.  If I have overestimated it by more than a $, I'll refund any excess charged.  It's taken me a year to find a suitable box to cut down to fit this.   Photos are part of the description.
