This is one of those vintage bags that just gets better the longer you look at it. Crafted from warm cognac/caramel leather, the bag features incredibly detailed Western-style floral and foliate tooling across the front with additional tooled leather panels along the sides. The petite structured silhouette has the look of a miniature vintage doctor/frame satchel, finished with beautiful contrast stitching, an old-school leather buckle closure, antiqued brass-tone hardware and four protective metal feet. Inside is an especially lovely brown and cream paisley-patterned fabric lining with the original PARAGUAY label still intact. Based on construction and comparable Paraguayan leather bags, this piece appears to date approximately to the late 1970s–1980s.
