This vintage piece was made in Macau which was a lucrative port of strategic importance.  This piece measuring 10 1/4" across states on the  back:       This plate was developed from  a traditional Chin dynasty design. It       illustrates the two things  most important to families in ancient China:       children and prosperity.  (Please see photo of the back of the plate). Condition is excellent.  There is minor wear to the bottom rim, but the hand painting is beautiful and undisturbed.  I  could find no defects.
