SPRING BLOSSOMS! 4 Cup Satsuma Teapot made by Ogurusu c.1930 Add some elegant Satsuma beauty to your teatime with this lovely antique teapot! Hand-painted with glorious spring blossoms, this widemouth teapot is perfect for late spring and early summer! This piece was deftly hand-painted in Japan in the early 20 th Century. The teapot is stamped with the mark of a name: Ogurusu . The stamps are written by hand in gold and black paint, and all marks are the same. The set is likely to date 1920-30s from Kyoto. Condition: This set is in VERY GOOD condition! It shows only signs of light and respectful use and is free from major damage and repair! The piece has some moderate and even crazing throughout and wear to the gold gilt, especially along the rim of the spout.
