The center diamond is a wonderfully distinctive antique stone with chunky, irregular old-cut faceting, a warm brown/champagne appearance, and a prominent open culet. The diamond was purchased loose as an antique stone and later set into this modern 14K yellow gold mounting. The jeweler who set the center diamond represented its weight to me as approximately 0.47 carat . It does not have a laboratory grading report, so I cannot provide an independent color or clarity grade. Please refer to the photographs for its appearance in different lighting. A photograph of the center diamond while loose is included to show its shape and antique faceting more clearly. The modern mounting contains eight lab-grown modern brilliant-cut accent diamonds arranged in scattered clusters along the shoulders. The center Old Mine Cut diamond is natural; the eight accent diamonds are lab-grown. The ring is marked 14K and weighs approximately 2.8 grams total on my scale. This was a custom-made piece and has only been worn a handful of times, so the mounting shows very little wear. Please review all photographs carefully for condition and design details.
