View Antique 1860’s Quilt Hand Woven Hand Dyed Wool Indiana Provenance Civil War Era with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. Picked up this quilt from an estate. Attached to the quilt with a rusty paper clip were these notes that I photographed and are in the listing. I re-wrote the information on a blank card. Made in Lagro Indiana by a woman who made the quilt with wool from her own sheep and she also handmade her own dyes. The backing was installed later it appears. Does have insulation in the middle. Heavy quilt. Shows some wear and color loss but overall still looks great. See pictures. Thanks! Condition: Pre-owned.
