Beautiful natural wood with niave metal bands and corner hardware. Has nice original handpainted J.K. Piece sits flat and flush. Lid works great. Front lock is not present. Original 2 way metal handle on one side. Strong and can carry a lot of weight. Had a replaced mid century op art tack liner that could be removed. Dovetail corners. Likely European origin.
