The plane is in decent condition, and it was lightly cleaned and oiled. This is a number four size smoothing plane. This plane has a corrugated sides or cheeks and was made in the late 40s and early 50s.. The plane is in decent condition, and it was lightly cleaned and oiled. All moving parts work. There are no cracks or repairs on the plane body. The bakelite/plastic or tenite handles are in good shape.. There are the typical dings, scratches, discoloration, and very light pitting on the metal parts. The nickel plating on the lever cap is peeling off in a couple of places. Please look at all photos closely. The iron will need to be tuned up. Thanks for stopping by and looking...
