It is made of an off white ivory cream color handmade Irish crochet lace done in a 19th century Venetian point needle lace style with a dense detailed meshwork, button hole stitch, raised flowers, braided woven sturdy leaves, fanciful floral spiral scrolling designs and joined with connecting chain threads picots. This lovely lace collar dress trim has decorative scalloped edging, a wide sailor back, long lappet front drape and is sheer, unlined. The collar measures 17 inches long from front to back and 17 inches wide across the back. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable lace art!
