I believe this is made from silk as it’s extremely thin and the texture checks out - the lighter sections are possibly made from cotton or linen, I can’t entirely tell. The dress closes on the chest with 4 snap buttons and additionally has 3 buttons around the waist to help in putting it on. The veil snaps on both shoulders with the same type of buttons and all are still there. The fabric is extremely fragile and has some damage but the dress is mostly in-tact. There is a very large hole on the front side in the bottom portion. The backside is in good shape without any significant damage. From smoke & pet free home - no odors.
