PAIR OF WALL SCONCES WITH FEMALE MASCARON LOUIS XV STYLE 19TH CENTURY ~ BRONZE & GREEN GLASS ~ Very attractive pair of wall sconces Louis XV style, dating from the late 19th century. Made of bronze. Original gilding in superb condition, with a beautiful aged patina. The wall plates are decorated with a female mascaron, acanthus leaves, scrolls and a fruit cluster. The chasing is exceptionally fine, a testament to the high quality of workmanship. Supplied with light green glass-paste tulips, of recent manufacture; in perfect condition. The electrical system has been installed and tested, with new wiring. Supplied with two E27 bulb adapters. Note, small opening on the side of the sconces to pass an electric cable (see last photo). Careful packaging guaranteed, with double protection.
