The image combines multiple documentary photographs of Lenin into a single artistic montage, with the reverse titled "Combined Portrait of V. I. Lenin" (Russian: Объединенный портрет В. И. Ленина). Believed to date from circa 1924–1925, shortly after Lenin's death, when commemorative montage portraits became popular in the Soviet Union.  Original vintage item, not a modern reproduction.
