The chair is upholstered with perfect green / teal velvet fabric on the seat. Sadly, there is no maker's mark, but looking at all the details of this piece, it is clear it is handcrafted (c. 1980s or so). This listing is for a fabulous, handcrafted Queen Anne style side chair from the Criss Good Collection. The delicate frame and legs are made of wood with a dark "mahogany" stain finish, a pretty little seat back crest and solid splat, with lovely cabriole legs in the front and smooth straight legs in the back. The chair is upholstered with perfect green / teal velvet fabric on the seat. The seat is removable, as it is neatly fitted in the frame tightly enough that it doesn't require glue. This would allow you to reupholster it if you so desired. This chair would be perfect in many types of rooms or shops, and is appropriate across a wide range of time periods.
