Original WWII Soviet aviation military photograph , dated July 25, 1941 , and taken or inscribed in Moscow , only a little over one month after Germany invaded the Soviet Union. The photograph shows a young Soviet military aviator wearing a particularly striking white summer uniform and white peaked cap . The cap bears a clearly visible Soviet aviation emblem with winged propeller , while the uniform displays an additional aviation-related insignia together with what appears to be a parachutist / parachute qualification badge on the chest.
