View Vintage Japanese Papier Mache on Gloss Black Lacquer Keepsake Trinket Box with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. These are not noticeable or distracting. For your consideration is a vintage mid-20th century Japanese Papier Mache decorative keepsake box with a traditional high gloss black lacquer finish. Standing approximately 2" in height, the box measures 5.25" square, this is a lovely box that is enhanced with a foliate design decoupage style decoration on the cover. Expected light surface scratching and shelf wear is seen on close inspection, as well as a couple of corner bumps near the base that have been carefully concealed over time. These are not noticeable or distracting. Otherwise, the box is in clean, very good condition with no chips, cracks, or other compromising imperfections found.
