Decorated with florals, butterflies, stylized peony flowers and scrolling designs.Bottom portion of the box is lined with wood and has a partition in the middle. One 1/8” smooth dip in bottom brass. This is a unusual style Chinese Canton Enamel Brass box which measures approximately 3 5/16” tall with its lid on.   Approximately 3 7/8” length and width of lid and top rim sides of the box. The base measures approximately 2 11/16” length and width.   Decorated with florals, butterflies, stylized peony flowers and scrolling designs. Bottom portion of the box is lined with wood and has a partition in the middle. The hand painted enamel colors include black, white, yellow, with shades of green, mauve, orange and pink. Condition: Enamel loss, areas where the white enamel base was not painted, enamel paint on the brass, surface scratches, Oxidation including tarnish and staining to the brass metal, indentations in the brass.
