Plate Size: Sixth Plate (1/6 Plate): Measures approximately 2.25" by 3.25" with a historically clipped upper-left corner, which allowed the metal plate to slide smoothly into protective paper sleeves, cases, or album pages of the era. Historical & Fashion Highlights: The Costume: The subject is impeccably dressed in a formal Victorian three-piece suit. Highlights include a heavy wool or frock-style jacket featuring dark velvet lapels/collar accents, a matching low-cut vest, a crisp white standing collar shirt, and a neatly tied patterned bow tie or cravat.
