This is a rare antique Tuareg cross pendant which was handmade by the Tuareg metalsmiths from silver created by the process of smelting old silver coins, broken jewelry and recycled metals.  This Tuareg cross is very old and shows wear from tribal use and has a crack in the metal on the bail. This Tuareg cross pendant measures 1.85 inches long by 1.30 inches wide. The Tuareg people of Niger are well known for their talented metalsmiths.
