View 20" Disston No 112 cross-cut 9pt skew back panel wood handsaw Wenzloff sharpened with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. These saws have been in his collection for quite a few years. This saw was sharpened by Wenzloff. It is marked on the blade with 'EXTRA HENRY DISSTON & SONS KEYSTONE SAW WORKS PHILADELPHIA USA LONDON 112 SPRING EXTRA REFINED WARRANTED PATENT GROUND". You are bidding on one Disston handsaw as pictured. It is marked on the blade with 'EXTRA HENRY DISSTON & SONS KEYSTONE SAW WORKS PHILADELPHIA USA LONDON 112 SPRING EXTRA REFINED WARRANTED PATENT GROUND".  The brass medallion on the handle is marked "H DISSTON & SONS PHILADA".  I don't see any owner markings.  Overall length of the blade measured along the lower edge is about 20-1/4".  Height of the blade, measured perpendicular from the teeth straight up to the leading edge of the wood handle is about 4-15/16". It is sharpened cross-cut with about 8 teeth per inch or 9 points per inch.  This is one of a number of saws consigned to me by a friend who used to live in the Portland, Oregon, area. These saws have been in his collection for quite a few years. A mutual friend to both of us used to work for Mike Wenzloff & Sons, long before Mike ceased business (and sadly passed away), and arranged for a number of the saws in my friend's collection to be sharpened by Wenzloff. This saw was sharpened by Wenzloff. I don't have any written documentation, because nobody back then thought to keep the receipts, but I am 110% confident in saying that as I know both men, and I was around both of them back when these saws were being sharpened.  Condition of the blade is good, with a legible etch, some patina (color), and some scattered pitting, especially near the handle. It is reasonably straight if you sight down the teeth.  Condition of the handle is good, better with a cleaning, and there are tiny chips in the ends of both horns.  SHIPPING: 2 or 3 pounds when boxed, shipped US Postal Service Ground Advantage, insurance and tracking are included. No International shipping. l sell what I enjoy, and I collect antique woodworking tools and I enjoy photography! PACKAGING: Please check my feedback -- I package well. I understand how disappointing it is to receive a purchase where the seller clearly didn't care about how it was packaged. I always use a new cardboard box or new envelope, I use bubble wrap for cushioning, I work to make sure nothing escapes out of the package, and I no longer use any Styrofoam peanuts.  OFFERS: I will always consider an offer, some longer than others.
