Vintage Cut Crystal Compote Centerpiece w/ Ornate Gilt Metal Handle & Marble Base – 15” Elegant vintage cut-crystal compote/centerpiece featuring an 8-inch diameter crystal bowl with intricate geometric cutting and beautiful floral and foliate decoration. The bowl is mounted on an elaborate gold/brass-tone metal pedestal with classical detailing, an ornate openwork center handle, and a substantial green marble/stone base. Standing approximately 15 inches tall, this is an impressive statement piece with wonderful presence. Beautiful displayed on a dining table, buffet, entry console, mantel, or in a traditional or European-inspired interior. It could be used as a fruit bowl, centerpiece, or simply as a decorative object. The metal has an attractive aged gold/brass appearance with patina and surface wear consistent with vintage age.
