This is an amazing piece of history perfect for instalation in any atomic themed space. The cord does pull out and retrack and the original coating is intact. The outer metal saucer need some tlc with some small rust spots and paint recidue. Glass insert is in near perfect condition with some minor ships around the middle hole where it has rubbed against the metal. Saucer measures 14" across and the insert measures just over 11.5". The main lamp and glass insert will be carefully packed to avoid damage in shipping and any extra shipping cost will be returned to the buyer.
