This silver brooch is an early example of a Mexican silver master's workmanship. Unfortunately it is just signed Silver Mexico like many early pieces. The curly leaves and berries? curve up from the base which serves as a support for securing the pin. The amethyst cabochon is mottled in 2 tones. There is a crack but no loss to the stone.
