A FOUNDER'S GRADE FROG MECHANISM for a Stanley No. 8 2 5/8 inch width jointer plane, Type 5, by STANLEY. This frog, which will fit Stanley No. 8 size planes of Type 5 through 8, is in essentially unused condition and could be put directly to use. It employs the "first lateral" adjustment mechanism that featured a raised rectangular end on the adjustment lever before the disk mechanism that remained in use until modern times was introduced.
