MAKER & BACKGROUND A small antique French mignonette bearing the incised UNIS France mark with mould number 301. UNIS France was the trade mark of the SFBJ consortium, used from around 1916 into the 1920s-30s. These tiny bisque "poupees de poche" (pocket dolls) continue the tradition of the 19th-century French mignonette in a neat jointed form with molded boots.
