UNIS France was the trade mark of the SFBJ consortium, used from around 1916 into the 1920s-30s (mould 60 itself dates from around 1910). This example was originally sold as a pilgrimage keepsake -- it retains its "Souvenir de Lisieux" medal on the sash, Lisieux being the Normandy town of Saint Therese, a major pilgrimage destination. Dressed in its original white communion-style gown.
