French School Geography Map Poster A double-sided French school geography map poster produced by Editions Rossignol of Montmorillon (Vienne), one of France's principal publishers of educational wall charts. One side presents the Midi Mediterraneen region, covering the southern coastline from Perpignan to Monaco, including Marseille, Toulon, Nice and Corsica. The reverse displays the Bassin Aquitain, mapping the Atlantic southwest from the Pyrenees to the Loire, with Bordeaux, Toulouse and Limoges as principal centers. These Rossignol regional series charts were standard classroom equipment in French primary and secondary schools from the 1950s through the 1970s, making this a genuine French school geography map poster from that era.
