French Educational Map Poster Published by Editions Rossignol of Montmorillon (Vienne), this double-sided French educational map poster dates from the mid-20th century and was produced for classroom use in French primary schools. One side displays map no. 20, titled Cotes de la Mediterranee, while the reverse carries map no. 19, Cote de l'Atlantique. Rossignol was one of the leading French publishers of school wall charts, and examples like this French educational map poster are increasingly sought after as vintage graphic documents. Both maps are printed in a flat, graphic style typical of post-war French pedagogical materials.
