Vintage solid sterling silver medium-sized (approx. 1 9/16" tall with bale loop and jump ring, ~ 1 5/16" without the ring; weight approx. 2.1 g) Crucifix pendant featuring a classic Slavonic Orthodox "budded" design with a detailed relief iconic image of the Crucified Savior. The reverse displays an inscription of the traditional Slavonic Orthodox prayer meaning "Save and Protect". The prayer reminds us that Christ the Savior is with us to save and protect a person wearing the cross from every evil and from all enemies visible and invisible.   The large soldered jump ring of the crucifix bears the "925" hallmark indicating the "sterling" purity. It has been confirmed for the pendant using the silver  acid test. The item has visual vintage appearance with signs of aging and wear that might include diminished quality of the artwork, deformations of its original shape, scratches, dents, and patches of discoloration/patina.
