(1 1/2" tall with bale loop and jump ring, ~ 1 1/8” without the ring; weight approx. 1.8-1.9 g) Crucifix pendant featuring a Slavonic Orthodox artisan-style ornate layered "budded" design with a detailed high-relief image of the Crucified Savior. Vintage solid sterling silver medium-sized and sturdy (approx. 1 1/2" tall with bale loop and jump ring, ~ 1 1/8” without the ring; weight approx. 1.8-1.9 g) Crucifix pendant featuring a Slavonic Orthodox artisan-style ornate layered "budded" design with a detailed high-relief image of the Crucified Savior. He is depicted according to the Orthodox iconographic tradition, with His feet are uncrossed and His head crowned with large halo filled with symbolic rays of light. The reverse displays a hand-engraved cursive inscription of the traditional Slavonic Orthodox prayer meaning "Save and Protect". The prayer reminds us that Christ the Savior is with us to save and protect a person wearing the cross from every evil and all enemies visible and invisible.  The large soldered jump ring of the pendant bears two punch marks, one of which displays the "925" hallmark indicating the "sterling" purity. It has been confirmed for the pendant using the silver acid test. The pendant has visual vintage appearance with few signs of aging and wear that might include diminished quality of the artwork, deformations of its original shape, scratches, dents, and patches of discoloration or patina.
